Saul Acevedo Gomez (Mexican, b. 1995)

Saul Acevedo Gomez explores the intersections of art, the human experience, and our relationship with nature. His drawings and paintings transform through abstraction, surrealism, and conceptual design, capturing the realms between human imagination and reality. Drawing inspiration from various sources, including self-development books, philosophy, art theory, history, intimate conversations, and personal practices in meditation and spirituality, Saul seeks to tap into the collective imagination. His work reflects our shared realities, resilience, responsibilities, imperfections, and everyday challenges.

For Saul, his works are perceptions beyond our recognition, connecting us with nature by expanding and exploring the experience of art, our imagination, and reality. His practice is a vulnerable expression of truth and honesty, delving into the uncivilized within us and the essence of love.
